Oab not updating exchange 2016 server

So Microsoft Exchange File Distribution Service is removed from the CAS role.

I am trying to explain the conventional methods for forcing the OAB generation in Exchange 2013 and fresh download on an Outlook 2013 environment.

This new architecture provides greater resiliency in OAB generation.

Also, In Exchange 2013, the OAB files are generated and stored in the Organization Mailbox first and later copied to the %Exchange Install Path%\Client Access\OAB\.

Visit Stack Exchange On our companies Exchange 2010 server, the most recently created mailboxes do not show up in the offline address book.

I found that the oab is distributed via IIS's default website under 'oab'.

This is some times required in case your OAB generation/download is not properly working.

This reduces the number of times the Outlook window might become unresponsive and the number of unnecessary connections to the Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory. If Outlook is left running constantly in Cached Exchange Mode, it automatically updates the offline address book about one time per day depending on updates on the computer that is running Exchange. The offline address book size can vary from several megabytes to hundreds of megabytes in uncompressed form. When i look in this folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Client Access\OAB) on the IIS server, I see a folder with date modified today, but the files in this folder have all modified date a few months ago ? Ive also found a folder (C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Exchange OAB) which contains more recent files but not from today when i updated the offline address book via the exchange management console What am i missing ?In Exchange 2010 it takes even longer to synchronize the changes in the OAB than Exchange 2007.
